After Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat in the 2nd match of the T20 World Cup 2024 Super-8, India amassed 181 for 8 in 20 overs thanks to 53 off 28 from Suryakumar Yadav.
While Rashid Khan (3 for 26) and Fazalhaq Farooqi (3 for 33) contributed significantly to the destruction of India’s middle and top order, the 60-run partnership between Suryakumar and Hardik Pandya guaranteed India a respectable score.
AFG now lost 2 consecutive matches in the T20 World Cup 2024 after winning the first three.
