T20 World Cup Semi Final: India vs England match to be washed out?

The Indians have qualified for the semifinals of the T20 World Cup by being unbeaten throughout whereas England has lost their only match against Australia.

 

The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 is to be played between the Unbeaten South Africans and the history creators, Afghanistan at 5:30 PM PST.

But the Second Semi-Final is to be played between the defending champions England and the unbeatable Indians in Guyana at 7:30 PM PST. Both semifinals will be played on June 27th. When the last time India played against England in a semifinal, England won that match by 10 wickets. India would want redemption this time as they have also beaten Australia in their last super-8 game of the T20 World Cup 2024.

The official match time is set for 10:30 AM local time and ends at 1:40 PM. The contest does not have a reserve day, but if it is interrupted by rain, an extra 250 minutes have been added, extending the match’s duration to 5:50 PM.

What happens if the match gets washed out?

To determine the outcome of the match, both teams must play at least 10 overs. On the other hand, given their unbeaten group-stage record at the T20 World Cup2024, India will advance to the final if the match is rained out.
