India’s former head coach Dravid’s Son is all set to play for Mysuru Warriors in Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20.

The former India captain and head coach Rahul Dravid’s Son was signed by Mysuru Warriors on Thursday during the player auction in preparation for the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 season. The Warriors hired Samit as a seamer and middle-order batsman for Rs 50,000.

Under Karun Nair’s leadership, the Warriors, the runners-up of the previous season, will have India pacer Prasidh Krishna, who cost Rs 1 lakh, to help with his bowling, and Dravid’s Son will also be there.

A Warriors team official told PTI, “It’s good to have him on our side as he has shown a lot of promise in various age-group tournaments for KSCA.” Dravid’s Son Samit played for the KSCA XI against the visiting Lancashire team earlier this year. He was also a member of the Karnataka under-19 team that won the Cooch Behar Trophy this season.
