Zimbabwe to get paid for touring England for a 4-day game in 2025 in which they’ll receive a “touring fee” by ECB, announced by ECB Chief Richard Gould.
Zimbabwe to get paid by ECB is announced by the ECB Chief Richard Gould. This means they’ll receive a “touring fee” from the England Cricket Board for touring England.
Zimbabwe will be touring England for a 4-day game next year and Zimbabwe to be paid by the England Cricket Board is happening for the first time in International Cricket.
Talking to Nasir Hussain on Friday on the occasion of the 3rd Test between England and West Indies, Gould said strong Boards like ECB, BCCI, and Australian Boards must put an effort to make sure that test cricket stays alive.
Keeping in mind England has not played a test against Zimbabwe since 2003 so it would be a momentous occasion for both the teams.
