New Zealand Test Squad for Sri Lanka Series

The New Zealand Test Squad, led by Tim Southee, includes prominent players such as former skipper Kane Williamson, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, and Rachin Ravindra. Southee will captain the strong Kiwi pace attack, including Matt Henry, Ben Sears, and Will O’Rourke during their matches in Sri Lanka and India.

Due to the sub-continental conditions that favor spinners, the New Zealand selectors have chosen a strong spin attack for the upcoming Test matches. The spin department will be led by Mitchell Santner, Ajaz Patel, and Michael Bracewell, with Phillips and Ravindra also offering valuable spin options for the away tests.

The head coach also said that seeing the condition we won’t be utilizing fast bowlers in every match. The Kiwis are set to face Afghanistan in Noida, India on the 9th of September. Then the New Zealand Test Squad will face Sri Lanka on the 18th and 26th of September.
