Pakistan’s Red Ball Coach Jason Gillespie has invited Arshad Nadeem, the Gold Medalist in the Javelin Throw, to the Pakistan Cricket team’s Dressing room.
Jason Gillespie, Pakistan’s red-ball head coach, has cordially invited Olympic gold winner Arshad Nadeem to the Pakistan cricket team’s dressing room following Nadeem’s historic performance at the Paris Olympics.
Arshad Nadeem made history as the first Pakistani to win an individual Olympic gold medal, throwing 92.97 meters in the Men’s Javelin Throw final. This incredible throw set a new Olympic record and earned him the desired gold medal.
During a recent interview on the PCB podcast, Gillespie showed his appreciation for Nadeem and issued an open invitation to the Olympian to join the cricket squad in the dressing room. “We would love to have Arshad Nadeem visit us in the dressing room,” he remarked. “I watched all the Shaheens cheering him on in the Olympics. Sharing his gold medal with the squad would be an amazing experience, especially because the Olympic spirit is still strong. We invite him to come and visit.”
