The PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi did a Press Conference a few moments ago on Monday. He said our Stadiums don’t meet the requirements of International Standards.
The director of Domestic Cricket Abdullah Khurram Niazi and the Chairman of PCB Mohsin Naqvi did a press conference on Monday.
Mohsin Naqvi Press Conference stated: “The labor and the staff of FWO in Lahore haven’t stopped working from the time we started this renovation process.”
“We are working tirelessly to complete this stadium renovation before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025,” he added.
A media person asked Naqvi about the uncertainty earlier of the venue of the second Pakistan vs Bangladesh Test match. To which he said: “We thought that we could schedule the match without the spectators which allows us to carry on with the renovation but the security agencies didn’t allow the laborers to enter during the match. To which we have now shifted the match in Rawalpindi.”
On the completion of the full 3-D model before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Naqvi said: “We will try to complete it but in the first phase we will complete the Main buildings like Pavilions, media boxes, and one of the enclosures.”
The PCB has allocated a budget of 12.80 Billion rupees for the upgrade of three main stadiums. The Pakistan vs Bangladesh first test match will be played from the 21st of August in Rawalpindi.
