Babar Azam, the star Pakistani batsman has now been dropped to No. 12 in the recent test batting rankings. He has truly lost his shine and form over the past 2 years. He has now been without a test half-century in the last 16 test innings.
Babar Azam has scored only 64 runs in the recent series against Bangladesh which Pakistan has lost embarrassingly. The former captain has fallen to No.12 with 712 points, losing three positions as he appears to be struggling.
Mohammad Rizwan is the only Pakistani batter who has managed to stay in the top ten, and he is now in 10th place. He has joint points with the Australian Usman Khawaja.
Saud Shakeel is the third Green Shirts hitter among the top 20 batters, ranking 20th. The middle-order batsman has dropped seven places from 13. On the other hand, Salman Ali Agha climbed nine ranks up from 40 to 31. Babar Azam is now on 12th in Test Matches.
