On Thursday, Babar Azam scored his 30th List A century in the Champions Cup 2024. He scored 104 not out on 102 balls and his team scored 271.
Sarfraz Ahmed trolled Babar Azam when he came to the crease in match 7 of the Champions Cup 2024. The stump mic caught his voice saying “Let the crowd cheer Babar’s name, we will let Babar play all the over and the rest of the team will get themselves out because of Babar Azam.”
This remark of Sarfraz Ahmed went viral on social media and fans started criticizing him. After the criticism Babar went on to score a century, his first in the Champions Cup 2024. The comments from Sarfraz were in a humorous way trying to back his bowlers. He was also trying to trigger Babar Azam to play a false shot. Babar Azam played a solid knock and became the highest run scorer of the tournament to date.
