
The ICC delegation is now on a visit to Pakistan to assess the sites and preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025, which will be held in February-March.
Mohsin Naqvi had a thorough talk with the ICC delegation and assured them of world-class arrangements for the Champions Trophy 2025.
He also ensured that the stadiums would be refurbished in time for the competition and that all teams would have complete security.
“It is an honor to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan,” said Mohsin Naqvi. “The arrangements are being finalized for the tournament.”
“I ensure that players of all teams will enjoy the game of cricket in a peaceful and safe environment in Pakistan,” he said.
“After the upgrade, the stadiums will have international standard facilities and the fans will enjoy more cricket matches.”
The ICC delegation acknowledged their satisfaction with the security arrangements for the Champions Trophy 2025 in Karachi and Rawalpindi.
The meeting was attended by ICC Senior Manager of Events Sara Edgar, Champions Trophy Event Lead Oun Mohammad Zaidi, General Manager Cricket Wasim Khan, PCB Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla, and Director Security Colonel Retired Khalid Mahmood.
