The white ball skipper, Babar Azam is currently playing in the Champions Cup tournament. He scored his 30th List-A century on Thursday against the Dolphins.
Babar Azam has made a strong statement about his comeback as he struggled with his form recently. He scored 104* on 102 balls against Sarfraz Ahmed’s Dolphins. This century has been his 30th List-A century.
Babar Azam went past Virat Kohli in List-A’s list of fastest to 30 centuries. Despite criticism, the right-handed batter responded with a stunning 104-run innings from just 100 balls, including seven boundary smashes and three sixes.
During the match, Babar, 29, received criticism from former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed from behind the stumps.
After seeing the fans chanting Babar’s name in response to his performance, the middle-order batter responded, “No hurry, no hurry.” Simply encourage these guys to continue shouting Babar… Babar. We’ll let Babar bat for 40 overs, and everyone else will be out. Come on, lads. Babar Azam has achieved this milestone in just 180 innings.
