The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will take place in Pakistan in February next year. The renovations for Pakistani Stadiums are in full flow as the board isn’t compromising on any facilities. In this regard, the Indian Chainaman (LALS) was asked about the event and his participation. He replied with excitement.
Kuldeep Yadav about going to Pakistan
“As cricketers, we will play wherever we are sent. I have never been to Pakistan before, so I am excited. The Pakistani people are great, and whenever we get the chance, we will definitely go and play there,” he said at an event in Australia.
The eight teams’ matches will be played at three venues: Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, with all of India’s matches taking place in Lahore, according to the PCB’s proposed schedule to the ICC.
The PCB also granted Rs12.80 billion for the upgrading of three stadiums. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, and the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium will all be upgraded in preparation for the showpiece event.
Except for India, all seven countries competing in the Champions Trophy have already played in Pakistan, and the PCB believes India has no compelling reason not to travel here. With Kuldeep Yadav explaining his desires, this shows the players do want to come and now it’s up to the governmental level.
