Khushdil Shah  – The Star Performer

Khushdil dominated with both the ball and the bat. He removed Babar Azam, Zalmi’s top-scorer, who made 46 off 41 balls. He also dismissed Mitchel Owen and Tom Kohler. His bowling figures were 3 for 20 in just 3 overs,  keeping things tight with smart variations and good control.

When Karachi needed calmness, Khushdil delivered. He scored 23 off 17 balls*, finishing the job under pressure. He struck two timely boundaries that changed the momentum. His calm presence helped Karachi seal the chase.

 David Warner Leads the Charge

David Warner gave Karachi a great start in the chase. He scored a brilliant 60 off 47 balls with composure. His innings kept Karachi steady in the middle overs. After Warner fell, the chase became tense. Then Mohammad Nabi scored a quick 14 off 11 balls. He and Khushdil steadied the innings again.

Zalmi Bowlers Fought Hard

Abbas Afridi bowled with aggression and took 3 important wickets from KK side. His figures were 3/30 in 4 overs.  From PZ, Luke Wood also impressed, matching Afridi with 3 wickets. He kept the run rate under control. Ali Raza grabbed two more wickets and showed promise.

 Final Thoughts

Karachi Kings held their nerve in the final overs. Khushdil Shah was rightly named Player of the Match. His all-round brilliance changed the game. This win gives Karachi confidence moving forward. Karachi Kings move ahead with momentum  putting extra pressure on Peshawar Zalmi. Peshawar has just won only one out of their four games. PZ need to think about their plans and revise their strategy for upcoming matches.
