T20 World Cup 2024: BANG vs NED
Bangladesh defeated the Netherlands by 25 runs, knocking Sri Lanka out of the T20 World Cup 2024 Super-8 round. Bangladesh now has four points from three Group D games after defeating the Netherlands. From the same group, South Africa has already advanced.
After three games, Sri Lanka can only hope to get three points. Regarding the game, Shakib Al Hasan’s undefeated 64 helped Bangladesh establish a 160-run goal for the Netherlands. The Dutch, in response, scored 134/8 in 20 overs.
Sri Lanka faced a washout match a few days ago due to the Flood Alert in Florida. Their match was scheduled with Nepal, but both teams shared a point after the washout. That washout potentially resulted in Sri Lanka’s elimination from the T20 World Cup 2024.
