Seven Pakistan cricketers, including major talents Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Babar Azam, and Haris Rauf, have landed in Melbourne to begin their series against Australia. The Pakistan cricket team will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 matches in Australia, in a highly anticipated clash between the two cricketing powerhouses.

The remaining members of the Pakistan squad will depart from Karachi later tonight, followed by the team’s fielding coach, Muhammad Masroor. This staggered arrival is intended to ensure that the players adapt themselves quickly to Australian conditions, given the difficult pitches and weather that differ greatly from those at home.

The ODI series will begin on November 4, with the Pakistani squad hoping to make an early impact. Team captain Babar Azam, who is already in Melbourne, expressed confidence in the team’s preparation and underlined the importance of improving past performances. Pakistan’s team, which includes both experienced and young players, is looking forward to harnessing the skills of their fast-bowling juggernaut, led by Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah, as well as Babar’s top-order prowess.

The three-match ODI series will come before the T20 contests, providing spectators a thrilling display of international cricket as the Pakistani squad prepares for one of the season’s most important tournaments Down Under.
