Champions Cup 2024: Wolves Captain counts on the Home Crowd.

Champions Cup 2024 will kick start on the 12th of September with Wolves playing the tournament opener against the Panthers in Faisalabad.

Champions Cup 2024 was announced last month considering the need to bridge the gap between domestic and International Cricket in Pakistan. The five legend mentors will lead the five teams including 30 players. The mentors include:

Misbah Ul Haq (Wolves)

Waqar Younis (Lions)

Shoaib Malik (Stallions)

Sarfraz Ahmed (Dolphins)

Saqlain Mushtaq (Panthers)

One of the interesting facts about this Champions Cup 2024 is that Babar Azam and Shan Masood will play under Muhammad Haris in Stallions. The other Captains are Shadab Khan (Panthers), Muhammad Rizwan (Wolves), Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lions), and Saud Shakeel (Dolphins).

Yesterday after the training session of Champions Cup 2024, Muhammad Rizwan recorded a message for the fans and audience in Faisalabad to be the spectator and the “12th Player” of the Wolves. He further said:

“I’m eagerly looking forward to the local crowd supporting Wolves during the tournament and I feel they will act as the 12th player for us. With the help of the Almighty, we will try our best to perform well in this tournament.”

Wolves came from “Faisalabad Wolves” and originated as Faisalabad’s team, so Muhammad Rizwan encouraged the crowd to back them.
