PCB denies NOC to Saim Ayub for playing in the Caribbean Premier League while the wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan, Amir, Fakhar, and Imad got the NOC.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB has approved the NOC of four national players in the CPL, which begins this weekend.
According to sources, wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan, explosive opener Fakhar Zaman, quick bowler Mohammad Amir, and all-rounder Imad Wasim have all received an NOC.
However, according to sources, the PCB has denied 22-year-old opener Saim Ayub’s plea for a NOC to attend the event.
The young cricketer was denied permission since he is now with the national Test squad, which is playing two Tests against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.
Azam Khan will represent the Guyana Amazon Warriors, while Fakhar Zaman will join the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, which will also include Amir and Wasim.
Last month, the PCB dismissed Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi’s plea to compete in the Global T20 League Canada.
