ICC Champions Trophy 2025: In a Wednesday media interaction, ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice confirmed no plan to relocate the Champions Trophy.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will commence in February in Pakistan. There were rumors that the Champions Trophy would be shifted to some other venues or might be played at the hybrid model. The ICC Chief said in a statement that no team has yet requested to relocate the trophy nor shown any hesitation.
It must be noted that, Leaving India every other team has visited Pakistan before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Geoff also emphasized that we pay visits to every host country before the events.
A five- to six-member ICC group will visit Pakistan next week to examine ICC Champions Trophy 2025 preparations.
The delegation will visit possible venues and meet with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials to discuss major concerns such as practice matches and ticketing. The team will consist of heads and representatives from various departments.
