
India Women beat Pakistan Women comfortably in the seventh match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. India is off the mark in the tournament.

In the 7th match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, India reached the mark with the cost of four wickets in the 19th over while chasing a modest 106 to win. India’s skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur, played a prudent innings, scoring 29 from 24 balls, including a four. Shafali Verma, the opening batsman, led the way with a 35-ball 32 that included three fours. The winning team’s other significant run-getter was Jemimah Rodrigues, who scored 28 off 23 balls.
Captain Fatima Sana was Pakistan’s most successful bowler, taking two wickets for 23 runs in four overs, with Omaima Sohail and Sadia Iqbal both taking one wicket
Pakistan had previously scored 105 for eight in their allotted 20 overs after electing to bat first. Former captain Nida Dar top-scored for the team with 28 from 34 balls, including only one boundary.
For India, Arundhati Reddy collected three wickets for 19 runs in four overs, while Shreyanka Patil took two wickets for 12 runs.
Pakistan will now face the defending champions Australia on Friday, October 11 in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
