Pak vs Eng: A strong 17-member squad announced by ECB.

The Pak vs Eng test series will begin on the 7th of October in Multan. The three-match test series will be a part of the World Test Championship.

The England Cricket Board has announced a strong 17-member squad for the Pak vs Eng tests. Brydon Carse and Jordan Cox were given a chance for the first time in the England squad.

The Pak vs Eng test series will be crucial for England as they want to win a series away from home and keep themselves in the World Test Championship Finals competition. England recently lost their third test match against Sri Lanka but won the series 2-1.

Pak vs Eng test series was first scheduled to take place at three venues but the ongoing construction in Pakistan changed the whole scenario. The Chairman PCB, Mohsin Naqvi confirmed Rawalpindi and Multan as the decided venues as Karachi and Lahore stadiums are under construction.

For Pakistan, this Pak vs Eng series is the chance to revive their pride as they were whitewashed by Bangladesh at their home last week.

Following the 3-0 Test series triumph in 2022, eight members of the squad will return to Pakistan: Rehan Ahmed, Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Jack Leach, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, and Ben Stokes.
