Pakistan Shaheen’s tour of Australia: Squad Captain and Match Schedules

As Pakistan Shaheen’s squad has departed to Australia, let’s look at their squad, the captain, and the match schedule in Australia.

 

Top-order batsman Sahibzada Farhan was selected captain of the Pakistan Shaheens side by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday. The Pakistan Shaheens will play two four-day matches against Bangladesh A in Darwin, Australia, this month.

 

During the tour, Pakistan Shaheens will also play two 50-over matches and a nine-team T20 competition in Darwin. In due course, the white-ball series captain will be revealed.

 

Due to an injury, pacer Hunain Shah will not participate in the series. Qasim Akram, an all-rounder, has taken the role of the right-armer.

 

Schedule of Pakistan Shaheen’s Tour

  • 19-22 Jul – Four-day vs Bangladesh A
  • 26-29 Jul – Four-day vs Bangladesh A
  • 4 Aug – 50-over match vs Northern Territory
  • 6 Aug – 50 over match vs Bangladesh A
  • 9-18 Aug – Nine-team Top End T20 Series

Haseebullah, Qasim Akram, Kamran Ghulam, Kashif Ali, Khurram Shahzad, Mehran Mumtaz, Mohammad Huraira, Mubasir Khan, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Omair Bin Yousuf, Sahibzada Farhan (c), Shahnawaz Dahani, Tayyab Tahir and Umar Amin.
