
PCB has announced the Pakistan squad for the England Tests. Shan Masood has retained his captaincy as Shaheen Shah Afridi made a comeback.
On Tuesday, the Pakistan squad for the England Test was announced but where is Khurram Shehzad? Khurram Shehzad was the top performer in the Bangladesh Test Series. He injured himself in the second test but was declared fit as Geo Super reported a few hours ago before the squad announcement.
Furthermore, the domestic top performer is also absent from the Pakistan squad for England Test. Despite scoring 2 hundreds in the Champions Cup 2024, Kamran Ghulam’s performance again went unnoticed. Muhammad Hasnain, the leading wicket-taker in the tournament is also absent from the squad.

Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfraz Ahmed (wicket-keeper), Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Remember that this squad has only been announced for the first test match. The 38-year-old Noman Ali has made a return after a 2-year gap.
The squad will assemble in Multan on Monday, 30 September, with the training camp starting from 1st of October.
