The Pakistani National Cricket team is likely to announce their squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 within a day or two as the deadline is about to end.
The deadline for the squad announcement IS 25TH of May, after that any changes may need approval from the ICC.
Babar Azam is set to lead the men in green for the 3rd time in a T20 World Cup. In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan is in group A.
The arch-rival India and Pakistan will face off on the 9th of June in New York. Other than that Pakistan will have to play with USA, Canada, and Ireland also.
As far as the squad is concerned, Hassan Ai the veteran pacer was released on the 22nd of May to let him fulfill his county Commitments with Warwickshire. Hassan Ali was initially selected in the squad for Ireland and England in place of Haris Rauf as he was injured.
This action confirmed that the Pakistan squad will be reduced to 17 Men for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
