For the appointment of new Pakistan Cricket Team Captain. Meetings have been going on between Garry Kristen, Mohsin Naqvi, and the Selection Committee of Pakistan.
With the resignation of Babar Azam as the Pakistan Cricket Team Captain, a lot of people are discussing this matter. The biggest question is will it be an all format captain or just the white ball. The answer is obvious, it will only be a white ball captain. Some of the contenders are strong in this regard but only one name stands out.
When the Pakistan Cricket Board names the touring squad for series in Australia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, seasoned wicketkeeper-batter Muhammad Rizwan emerges as a front-runner to become the team’s captain in white-ball formats.
In the last two days, the Pakistani selectors met with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and talked with white-ball head coach Gary Kirsten. Currently Pakistan vs England series is going on, the last test will end on 28th of October and squad will leave for Australia the next day. So the squad for Australia Series and the new Pakistan Cricket Team Captain will be announced by Sunday.
