India has beaten Zimbabwe in the fifth and final T20i by 42 runs. After losing the first game, India came back strongly and clinched the series 4-1.
In the fifth and final Twenty20 International in Harare, India defeated Zimbabwe by 42 runs to seal the series 4-1 on Sunday. In 18.3 overs, Mukesh Kumar amassed his best-ever T20I statistics of 4 for 22, helping Zimbabwe be dismissed for 125 runs.
Earlier, after being asked to bat first, Sanju Samson’s tenacious half-century assisted India in amassing a total of 167 for 6 in 20 overs. Samson used one-four and four sixes to help him score 58 runs off 45 balls. Blessing Muzarabani was the standout bowler for Zimbabwe, returning figures of 2 for 19 in his four overs allotted.
