India all out on 46 is a new record of scoring low at home. India were diminished in 31.2 overs in the second session after opting to bat under cloudy circumstances. The first day of the test was washed out. It was India’s third lowest Test score ever.
India’s previous low at home was 75 against the West Indies in New Delhi in 1987. Their lowest total score is 36 against Australia in a pink-ball Adelaide Test in 2020.
The explosive wicket keeper batter Rishabh Pant top scored the innings with 20 runs else nobody even crossed double figures. Five Indian batter got out on a duck.
Sarfraz Khan who made his debut today was one of the batsman who got out on a duck. The star batter Virat, KL Rahul, skipper Rohit and, Jadeja were the other four to get out on a duck.
Matt Henry got rid of 5 Indian batter, one by Southee, and four were demolished by O’Rourke.
